Prayers appreciated

Just wanted to ask for prayers as I head to bed. This 2nd treatment of chemo had been encouraging thus far. I haven't seemed as knocked out until today. Extreme fatigue, nausea & now the body aches have set in again - discouraging. Don't know how all of this works - is it the new cocktail of drugs from Thursday or the Nuelasta shot on Friday (meant to rebuild bone marrow)? Perhaps a mean blast of both. Still can't get over how awful & exhausted I feel - like the flu on steroids. I guess it kind of is. Just praying for those glimmers of normalcy to keep me moving forward in hope this is working & worth it. Thank you friends.

  1. Dearest Kelsey: Hang on!!! Will keep the direct pipeline to the Lord on your behalf going. Love you, Sharl and Doug Taylor

  2. Dear Kelsey: I am praying for you and your precious family. This is not an easy time but be uplifted by His Love and healing arms.
    With love,
    Linda Yarbrough
    Santa Fe, NM

  3. Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

  4. Hi Kelsey,

Your reaction to the chemo is very common. Just know "this too shall pass" even though your body and mind think otherwise. God's mighty grace Will hold you tight.

    In Jesus love,
    Andi Ellisen
    Redding, CA

  5. Kelsey, as I pray for you again this morning, I am so moved by your honesty and your trust in our wonderful Lord and Savior. You are precious in His sight and is holding you tight. Love you and your family and will continue to lift you up every day!!
    In Christ,
    Laura Corser

  6. Hi Kelsey.
Just wanted to say the side effects you are feeling are unfortunately normal for your treatments. Neulasta definitely causes body aches and tenderness at injection site. Not positive the drugs you are on but know most of the protocols and the fatigue and nausea are sucky (for lack of a better word)side effects. If the nausea is not under control, your Dr. could have you go in for an IV treatment(like Zofran). I can't speak for your Dr's of course, but that was an option for our patients. It's tough Kelsey. No doubt about it. But so are you and we all know God is there with you all the way! Our prayers are with you continuously. You have some beautiful reasons to fight this! The emotions you are feeling are ok too! Just don't keep the bad ones too long! If there is ever anything I can do, let me know!
Lots of love, Gaye Lynn Balzer

  7. Hell-o Kelsey,
I pray all the pain and nausea you're feeling is caused by all those cancer cells dying off. I can't imagine the Holy Spirit living in you likes all those cancer cells either! I pray the presence of the Holy Spirit floods you with his peace, his healing, his comfort, his strength, and most of all His love for you. Your prayer warriors are lifting you and your family to the very presence of our Heavenly Father. He loves you, Kelsey, and He knows your sufferings. He will always be there to meet your needs. You are loved by so many people. Even through your pain and suffering you are still continuing to shine! Love, Sharon

  8. We are praying Kelsey, Chris and Alexa! Keep those boxing gloves on! We love you! Dave&Misty, C, Alexa's passable (big brown eyed) sisters

  9. Kelsey, I ran across your blog a while back on Facebook. I read a little bit and when I got a hint that something was going on, I went back and read all your blogs to catch up. I just want you to know I love you and I am one of your many prayer warriors. I'm praying for God's miraculous healing as well as for you to find peace in this valley. You are gifted in so many ways and your words are touching the hearts of many. I think of you often and I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. I will continue to rebuke this illness in the name of Jesus and pray for your healing... God is the great physician and by His stripes we are healed...every night I will claim that for you ... and I'm not just going to pray it for you, I'm going to believe it for you...many times I've have clung to my favorite verse, Romans 8:18 "For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." ... His glory is coming Kelsey...keep fighting...and I'm with you when I too say "Die cancer Die".... xoxox Love, Tammie* (Mouser)
