Five Years in the Making!

“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:3  - This is the verse inscribed on our wedding bands

On March 4, 2006, I was privileged to marry my best friend. Although it was five years ago, I can still remember our wedding day vividly. I was scampering around to finish last minute details (I actually wrote my vows late the night before) and I hadn’t even packed for the honeymoon. But one thing I did know, I was going to become Mrs. Christopher Kennedy and marry an amazing man of God. I felt very privileged in that respect. I felt like the Lord had prepared us for marriage through our own spiritual journeys and some tremendous premarital counseling and that provided me great peace! I never doubted Chris was the right person with whom to share the rest of my life and that conviction has only grown through the years. I am a very rich woman indeed. Here’s a glimpse of some of my personal highlights from the past five years . . .

It’s been quite a ride so far and I wouldn’t change a thing. I love you CK and thank the Lord for bringing a California man into my life to grow me, refine me, love me, lead me, and teach me to laugh & laugh & laugh. Here’s to at least 60 more years!!
